Dana Anka-Matchin was born in Romania in 1962. She started her studies (violin) at the Bucharest Music Grammar School "George Enescu" and continued these at the Hamburg High School for Music and Theatre. Her inner dependence showed her an exception artistic path as a self-taught woman, in music as well as in poetry and painting.
Tone, sound, colour, form, movement and rhythm became an entity in her art work.
On Wednesday, June 7th, an exibition of her paintings and release of her book of poetry "Stella Externa" took place in Hamburg.
