WELL KEPT SECRET REVIEWED

July 20th, The Detroit Sunday News reviews Hansi's new album, recorded in America, Well Kept Secret. Journalist Cathy McMahon, had the following to say:

Every now and then an artist sneaks up on you and amazes you. Such is the case with James Last and his new album. If this is a name you are already familiar with, be advised that you'll be hearing much more of this musician soon. With a carefully chosen group of Los Angeles musicians, James Last5 has now tuned his attention to the American Sound.

Last's interpretation of Gershwin's Summertime, is sheer listening pleasure. Cole Porters, Love For Sale is exciting, and Questions, from the Moody Blues, has flair and is arranged in such a together way that you may not eben notice the vocals aren't present.
